2002 Ford F250 Engine Miss

Recently I noticed that my truck seems to have a miss.
Conditions: Truck is at full operating temp. RPM around 2000. Xmsn in overdrive, haven't noticed it yet in any other gear. When it starts missing sometimes the tach "hesitates" when the gas pedal is pressed farther (eg. it will start missing at 2000 rpm, more accelerator does nothing to move the needle unless i goose it, at which point it will jump and seem to be alright). It dosn't seem to happen under any particular load. I've noticed it on straight stretches of highway as well as on hills.

Are there any codes?

Hook up a fuel gauge and monitor the pressure when the miss is felt to confirm or eliminate a fuel problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate any help ya'll can give me.

There are no codes. I'll check the fuel pressure in the morning. I found resistance measurements for the injectors and will also check them. Is there an easy way to check the coil packs without a scan tool? I haven't pulled the plugs yet either. All on the agenda for the morning.

Get the gauge out to the windshield. Drive it and monitor it for the symptoms and how the pressure was before and at the time of trouble

the problem turned out to be moisture in the boot on the number one cylindar. i cleaned everything real good and put a dab of dielectric grease on it and all now seems good. i appreciate your help.
