i had a leaking rear differential so i removed the cover and drained what fluid was left. i estimated the amount at about 2 quarts (that would be 1 quart low). i purchased a new cover because the old one was very rusty and it didn't look good. i never noticed any problems the last time i had driven the truck before i drained the rear. i installed the new cover with gasket and added the required amount of fluid with the additive for the limited slip. now i am noticing a vibration when i accelerate. i didn't drive the truck for a month and i can't imagine that it is a gas problem. do you have any idea what the problem could be. i am no mechanic and don't know what a new ring and pinion looks like, but i didn't notice any bent or missing metal or any damage when i had the cover off. thanks for the help
