I have a 2000 F250 with the 7.3. Its 2 wheel drive with stock steel wheels. My problem is when I run over a bump or hole in the road at around 47mph., the front end starts to shake violently as though the tires are flapping back and forth. Sometimes I have to come to almost a complete stop to stop the shaking. I have rotated front to back and this helps for a few months and then it starts again. I have bought new tires and it starts soon after the new tires start to ware. Any help would be appreciated.

IF you have a steering dampner on it, that would be my first thought. The jeep grand cherokees had a problem like this from a bad dampner. IT took a hevy duty replacement or the one offered by the dealer to fix it.
