1997 FORD F250 running rich at idle

i have a f250 with a 351 and i plug it into a scanner and it sed under 02 senser that it was rich i had the motor at idle, what is the main reson that would make it say it is rich ? what part is most likley the part that needs to be changed? thanks for any info

Check the o2 sensor first. if nothing check the MAF and Coolant temp sending unit.
