I have a 97 Ford F250 2wd 5.4l extended cab, 4 whl disks. I had to replace the right front brake line (steel line) and when I went to bleed the line I had nothing coming out of the bleeder.

I thought it was the rubber hose going to the caliper, but when I take that off I get fluid pouring out of the caliper and with the hose disconencted it is pumping fluid.

Is this a caliper that went bad? Bleeder value? piston frozen?

Hi there,

More than likely the bleeder is blocked with dirt or the end is rusted, take it out and clean it with a thin piece of wire.
