I have a 1992 Ford F150 4x4 with a V8, 351, I believe it's a 5.8L. Today while driving, it kept not wanting to shift into gear and finally it wouldn't drive at all and whitish/grayish smoke came out of transmission area with a large leakage. Could this be a blown transmission line? Please help! Thanks

Yes it could be, the only way to tell is to put some fluid in it and start it long enough to see where it is coming from.
