i have a 1994 F150 single cab truck, it is a standard and two wheel drive with 233,000 miles on it. the engine is a straight six... i dont know much about engines but i think its a 300. well for about a month now the engine light comes on every once in awhile, mainly when i get on the brakes or take off from a stop sign. the power steering went out about two weeks ago but it only lasted about two hours and it came on again. my truck sqeaks in the front end at slow speeds only when i take off. like in 1st and 2nd gear, but as long as i hold high rpm's it doesnt sqeak at all. my gas milage is horrible like 14 mpg. could all of this be corrilated to one problem? if so do you have any knowledge as to what could be going on?
