The "F" for ford on my hood has come off - 1978 F150 - It has two pins - as I placed it back in place -the left pin stuck on something the right pin nothing. It seems like there should be a pin holder that goes through the hole that holds the pin in place- There is no access to the underside of the hood - covered by metal. Have looked at the LMC catalogue and it shows letters only but no backing plate or device to hold it in place is shown. How do I keep the damn thing in place??? help would be appreciated.
