heater problems

I just got a 1993 ford f-150 2 wheel drive with a 302( 5.0) when i turn the heater on all i get is cold air, i have already replaced the heater coil and thermostat. what am i missing. i have been told that i need a heater control valve but no one has one listed for this truck.

What about the heater core and make sure the original engine is in it.

Im having the same problem with my car. So far I have changed thermostat,flushed radiator, but I put too much antifreeze in it. So, now I have about 1/2 to 3/4 gal. antifreeze and the rest water. Made sure the vent is closing so you dont get no outside air, radiator has 2 pin holes so I will replace it next and I put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator and that helped alot mind boggling huh! well good luck! You know you might look and see if there is a fuse for the heater either under the hood or under the dash.

when i installed the new heater core i forgot to reatach the cable to the box. so when i turned the knob from hot to cold the hole cable was moving and it wasn't operating the door in the fan box :oops:
