Air Conditioner Controls

I Have a 2001 F150 Ford Pickup with 4.2 engine
Mileage: 78,000

When I change settings on my Heating/Ac Control Panel it takes several minutes before mode changes, and sometimes won't change at all

try replacing the controls, had a car that started doing this to me, got part from a junkyard and never had the problem again
