It has a v-6 and 5 speed manual. Only when the ac is on does it run hot. I have replaced the waterpump, thermostat, and had the ac serviced. What could possibly cause this? Any help is appreciated.

Run the engine atleast 1 min. at 2K rpm,off it -go spin the fan on the water pump upfront does it spin easily like spinning an electric house fan when its off.

Could be a slipping belt check that too.

[quote:3953f3b1fd="justanold"]HELLO! What you describe is a lack of airflow thru the radiator. you will have to start by cleaning those fins.
Remove the shield covering the top of the radiator. look between the rad. and A/C condenser. see that fuzzy blanket? it has to go bye-bye. read this link. in it i describe how to make and use a tool to do it properly. i can make and ship one to you for $20.00 if you want. your access is from the top.once done you will notice a big difference. if you still have a concern during city stop/go operation you will have to replace the fan clutch. let me know if you have any ??s and how you fare. 8) 8) 8)

Thanks. It seems to have worked. Now I have a brake problem. front left caliper seems to be locking up. rotor gets very hot. I was told that the fluid is bad. If thats the case, wouldn't everything stick??
