I have a new 2008 F150 Crew Cab with 4.6 Liter Engine. I am very disappointed to find that the engine has consumed nearly an entire quart of oil in its first 2000 miles. There are no leaks. I have been so careful to gently break in the engine (slower and often varying speeds the first 1000 miles). My cars are Hondas. None has ever consumed any oil. Am I worrying about nothing important ? Or should I start pestering the Ford dealer as a matter of record for possible engine repairs later ?
