How is it the dealer has the solution when it isn't under warranty?

I would question the parasitic draw on the battery. There may be a module that is not going to slepp so the can be reduced.

Have a firm chat with the service manager and see what his thoughts are to having it diagnosed by an independent shop and letting ford pay the bill or if he can resolve this situation that is costing you an arm and a leg to own. Perhaps he could take the truck for a night and see if it happens to him.

replace your battery. your trucks battery probably died at some point, maybe before you got it. somebody jump started it and recharged it. unfortunately this drastically damages even a new battery. i bet you will find that your battery is simply no good especially how many times its gone dead on you. let us know what you end up finding..
