2006 Ford F150 clicking noise from behind back seat on driv

came out this morning and my battery is dead, I was able to jump start but the moment I remove the jump source my truck died. Battery is very dead and its only two months old. I had the alternator checked and passed. Question: although my truck is completely dead, I'm hearing a clicking sound behind the rear seat that is constant. Could this be the source of draining my battery? Other than the clicking sound, all indicators suggest an alternater problem but the clicking sound on a dead vehicle is confusing? Thanks

Clicking of modules with weak/dead batties is common on Fords, test the battery for a dead cell, this will cause the truck to stop running when the cables are un hooked. Then after you put in the fresh battery, test the charging system, link is on top right of page to do that, and to find electrical current draws.

The clicking is the security system..it will click when the battery is dead...also I found that to make the clicking stop I could sit in drivers seat and put foot on brake and it stopped . Disconnecting the battery terminals seems to act as a reset
