4 wheel drive and I don't think its engaging

I turn the switch on the dash to engage the 4 wheel drive and I don't think its engaging I don't see the light on the dash that says its engaged I also don't hear it engage. checked the fuse in the fuse compartment and all the fuses are okay , I checked them with a ohm meter and didn't find a blown one.

This is common when the encoder motor goes out here are the instructions on how to fix it in the diagrams below. #37 Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
