I own a 2006 F150 with 62,000 miles. When I turn the switch to put the truck into four wheel drive it engages when it wants to. If the 4x4 light comes on it is engaged but most of the time the 4x4 light does not come on and it is not in four wheel drive. Thanks

When it doesn't work, have you checked to see if there is power to the actuator on the transfer case?
