steering rack replacement instructions please?

I was driving truck the other day and the steering felt like it was giving out, then i went around a corner and it felt like it didn't want to go back. steering wheel was hard to pull back into position. and then power steering came back. It has failed a couple of times since then. It has rack opinion steering and I check the power steering fluid all seem good. Any suggestion on what this could be?

Here is the information you requested. I've attached the picture steps below showing how to replace the power steering rack and pinion gear on your truck. After finishing the repair be sure to cycle the wheels left to right, Lock to lock repeatedly to remove all the air from the system. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
