My 2005 F150, 5.4L will enter a forced idle mode while I am driving. The vehicle displays three error codes, P2104 TAC - forced Idle Mode, P2111 TAC - stuck closed, P2111 TAC - stuck open. I have replaced the throttle body and Throttle Position Sensor. The Accelerator Pedal Position sensor seems to be working fine. I've also had the computer refashed after all this. Still same issues and codes.
I have come to the conclusion that the PCM is bad. I located another PCM and it will be delivered today.
Can someone post the steps for switching out the PCM? Will my ignition key have to be reporgrammed afterwards?

Hello and thanks for donating Below are the replacement steps for your PCM, you will need to have the PCM and keys reprogrammed by your local FORD dealer though. The PATS (alarm system) will disable the vehicle when you replace the PCM until it has been programmed properly.

asside from the key, what has to be programmed if the PCM matches the original? I have an Edge programmner that can do things like tire size, gear ratio....will that do?

just the PCM itself aside from the keys, your programmer should work
