My 2002 Ford F-150 has a leaky slave cylinder. I have been short on cash lately so until I can afford the parts and have the time to pull the transmission, as a bandaid i've just been keeping the master cylinder for clutch full of dot3 brake fluid, and pumping the clutch alot everytime I drive it. This morning when I went to pump the clutch, the pedal sticks to the floor and does not come back to my foot. could I have worn out my clutch cable by pumping it so much? I really have no idea where to start. Please help. thanks alot.
