How do I correctly remove the rear brake disc on a F-150 4X4 with 120000 miles on it ?? The rear brake disc have never been removed before. The rear brakes are still OK for service but I want to go ahead and rebuild the rear brakes at this time. I have rebuilt and replaced the front disc brakes on this F-150 several times already, the front brakes do most of the work most of the time. When I say disc I am referring to the DISC ROTORS. The rear brakes on this 2001 F-150 have a DRUM TYPE parking brake on the back of the disc if I am not mistaken. How do I pull in the drum brake pads to get the disc off ??? I also think that the rear disc rotor may be rusted on to the axle hub. Is there a good technique for breaking the rusted disc off of the hub ??? I know of very good techniques for the front disc but not the rear disc. Can you help me ??? Jent Mitchell cell phone number 703-855-1110. How do I make a donation ???? Can I make a donation by way of PAYPAL ???
