2001 Ford F150 ICE freezing up buttyfly valve open at highw

Just replaced PCV Valve, but not sure if this solved the problem yet. Icing seemed to cause the accelerator to stick OPEN driving at high speeds & wouldn't release when taking foot off pedal. Dangerous situation for sure.

Possibly the throttle cable ckeck for any crackes in coating and the boot at the end next to throttle. Water get in sleeve it will freeze.
