pop the cover off of the fuse box. next take a tester and put on lead on each part of the fuse there will be metal spots on each side of the fuse, you hsould get a reading across each, if nothing the fuse is blown.
to check if a heater hose is pluged you can just feel it for temperature, when you get a plug part of the hose will be very hot the other part warm or cold.
low antifreeze can cause a heater not to work untill more is added. may have an air bubble in there if coolant got too low.
