i am having a problem with my 2000 f150. my temperature guage rises when i am going up hill and traveling at about 70mph for a while. i have changed the thermastat and it still does it. there is no engine light that comes on and i have had the coolant pressure test done on it with no problems. is there a possibility it can be the egr valve? the fan is also working fine. any suggestions?

try adding water wetter to the coolant, maybe time for a flush.

also could be a ignition system error causing the engine to run warmer, would deffinetely check out the check engien code that is being stored.
