Air Conditioning problem
1999 Ford F150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
The following is exactly what has been happening to me for about 1 month now.
gorka5, I have a 98 f150 4.6 v-8 95,000 miles and have the exact same problem. Mine also starts off cold but when I give it gas to take off it starts getting hot. But not always,,just sometimes. If I come to a stop and turn off and on the air it gets cold again and may stay cold the rest of the day it just varies. I think there is some short somewhere. I would like to here from anyone with any ideas also.
If I try to put heat on? When I turn temp to Hot.. seems like there is no change in temprature. Everything has been working properly since I've owned this truck. This all started about 1 month ago. Also Unit is properly charged, and is very cold, when working. Temp sensor somewhere malfunctioning?
