Hello,

My truck makes a loud tapping sound on the driver side rear wheel area.

It's only when it is put into drive and when the wheel turns it makes a loud tapping sound and gets loud until 36+ kms then it goes away. There's also a loud hiss, kind of sounds like metal scraping.

It just came out of the shop, a week later these sounds started.

The work that was done was all the brakes, front stabilization rods, the drive shaft was replaced, and an inspection report was given.

I think it might be the differential, but I'm no mechanic.

Take it back and have the shop recheck their work. It sounds like there is a problem with the brakes they just put on.

Let me know what you find.
