I have a 1999 Ford E-150 Van with the 5.4l V8 engine. The Van has about 120k miles. I have recently replaced front pads, calipers, rotors but when braking the front end shakes wildly. There is a pulsating that I feel through the steering wheel. My Ford dealer says I need all new pads, calipers, rotors but I have just replaced them. It seems as if the Steering box is a little loose and there is steering fluid coming from the seals. I am not really sure why a loose steering box would cause such shaking considering that if brakes are applied evenly there should be even pressure on both sides of the steering link. Any thoughts?
