1998 Ford F150 oil and coolant gauge

after running for about 5 minutes the oil and coolant gauge peg. Oil and coolant levels are fine. Any suggestions what needs to be done to fix problem?

Hi:
If the engine is not over heating or blowing the oil filter apart, there has to be a short in the wiring. The only thing I would recommend is to check the wiring for damage.
