This problem first reared its ugly head in just over a month ago. I pressed on the brake to shift out of park and was unable to do so. Then, the ABS light started flashing. At that time, I replaced the 15A fuse and it fixed the problem.
2 weeks ago, it happened again. Although the brake light bulbs didn't appear to be "bad," I replaced them anyway. Voila! No more blown fuses!
Tonight, I went and got into the truck, pressed on the brake pedal and the fuse blew.
I have replaced the switch on the brake pedal, but that didn't fix the problem, either.
The issue first started about a week after I pulled a trailer. I have the factory towing package on the truck. I don't know if that is pertinent or not. Thanks in advance!
