1996 Ford F150 Speedometer stopped working

I started my truck up one day and found that the speedometer is not working, the digital mileage display is not working, and my over drive light on the gear shift (automatic) is flashing. What could be causing this problem?

It could be a speed / distance sensor. What you need to do is have the computer scanned to identify where the prblem is coming from. Most parts stores will do it for free.
