Hi,
Recently when I've run my air conditioner while driving my clutch doesn't seem to want to pop back up when shifting gears. It doesn't happen all the time and it doesn't happen immediately. The truck needs to be running for a while should the problem occur. Once the problem does occur it doesn't matter if I turn off the air conditioner. One other thing I noticed is that the truck wants to pull to the one side. I took it to the dealer and he informed me that they would need to drop the transmission and take a look at the internal workings of the clutch. While in there they would determine if the clutch would need to be replaced. Is there any correlation with the air conditioner in use and my clutch not disengaging? It's an expensive repair and I'd rather not get into it if that's not going to resolve the problem. Any response will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian
