I need to remove the rotor on a 1995 F-150 4x4
The Chilton repair manual shows nothing regarding removal of what looks like a grease cap on the hub. This is not a standard grease cap, it has a cover with three screws that I have removed but I do not see any retaining ring or screws to loosen. How is this removed?
The rotor does not simply slide over the hub assembly, the hub is in front and over the rotor and is larger than the hole on the rotor on this 4x4 model. I believe there is a nut behind the "cap" that will allow the removal of the Hub assembly. I don't know if the cap unscrews or is pressed on?
