My drivers side rear shackle rusted out and broke. It is resting against the bed and has been driven quite a bit. The one on the passenger side doesn't look so hot either.
I want to replace the shackle and the mount on the frame. I'm an amatuer at best. Is this a job I can handle? Any special tools I should have? Any tips or things to warn me about?
Anything you could tell me would be a big help and greatly appreciated.

take out the shackle and spring together, then have fun trying to get the bolt out of the rubber bushing, its best to buy a new spring and shackle unless you have a hydraulic press.
