How in the world does a person get their hand in between the frame and fuel filter to get the fuel filter off the vehicle. My son is so frustrated because he has released one end of the fuel filter, but cannot get the other end. We have the recommended tool but it does not seem to be an easy release. the fuel line is stuck in place in the filter and you cannot get your hand in the position necessary to get the filter released from the lines.

is there not a clamp on the fuel filter that way you can unhook it then move the line to a easier place?

i have never had a problem with a fuel filter on a vehicle like his.

try disconnecting the line further back at the tank and then you can move the whole line over to whever you need it to go to get at it.
