All of a sudden when driving down the road, a fuse blew #8 15amp knocking out speedometer, power locks, dome lights, etc. and at the same time the transmission control indicator light came on and the transmission went into failure management mode. I replaced the fuse but blows immediately and I have been unable to locate the cause. Any suggestions? And do you think this is one problem or 2 separate problems

I think you should try and find what that fuse terminal is supplying like your speedo, windows and etc. obviously there is a direct short some where in that line causing it to blow as soon as you put in, look for wires rubbin metal or it could be an electrical motor like power windows that is shorted to ground. Good luck on tracin them wires.
