I'm having trouble with DTC 332 on my 1995 F150 5.0. When I purchased the truck it was plagued with 7 or more DTC's. I took the upper and lower manifolds off and had the local machine shop dip and clean both manifolds. I reassembled with brand new injectors, complete tune up and new egr valve and tube from lower to upper. I'm still down to just DTC 332. I then realized that the New EGR valve was not holding vaccuum so I purchased a junk yard EGR which does. Seems to idle better. I've replaced EVR solenoid as well. I've checked the vaccuum hoses with vaccuum pump and they seem to be fine. I keep reading about PFE/DPFE sensor as being a possible problem, yet I'm unable to locate it on my truck. I'm not sure if it has one. The diagram under my hood doesnt not indicate a PFE/DPFE in it. Do you know if it has one and where I might locate it ? I know my F150 has a crossover pipe in the rear from cylinder head to cylinder head. Is it possilbe that it's the problem, clogged ? or leaking ? I'm running out of Ideas..

That code for the PFE/DPFE tends to indicate that the EGR valve position sensor is complaining about something. It's the whitish "cap" on top of the EGR valve with wires going to it that tells the PCM how far the EGR is open.

In reality what that code is trying to tell you is that the PCM isn't seeing the EGR valve opening. I hope this helps.

I'm not sure that it helps, I think your saying I may have an electrical open on the egr sensor to the pcm ?

Yes, either an electrical open, or the EGR sensor isn't reading correctly. Possible the EGR valve still isn't opening far enough or at all, though with everything you've done that doesn't seem like a high probability.
