I need to replace the transfer case motor on my 1994 Ford F150. The problem is there are 2 listed. a "1" or a "D1" unfortunately the old one has no markings on it. How can I find out which one I need or what is the difference between the 2. The picture of the 2 look identical. Also there are 3 wires that are hard wired from the unit and go inside the yoke? a brown green and blue (Not sure what that is for?

Here are the pics of the two. The first is the D motor and the second is the 1D motor.. The ID number should be on the head of it near the wires. D motor

Have you found an oem number on the old motor? If you look at the lower motor you see where is says 1D with 4 more numbers that is where yours should be marked this is why I included the pics. Does yours have that or is completely gone? After doing some digging the dorman number I show for you truck is 600-801 take this to you local parts store and they should be able to either use this number or cross it. If needed the OEM number is F6TZ-7G360-AA.
