fuel pump wiring diagrams?

The ground is on top of the radiator support which can become loose or broken.

I have already checked the inertia switch, and it was not triggered, although I reset it any way just to make sure. and it was located on the passenger side on the kick panel. my truck seems to be the complete opposite of what its supposed to be I swear. any other suggestions? I am at a complete loss of ideas right now. thanks

is the vehicle definitely not getting fuel ? and there is definitely a hot feed to pump ..if yes .. check the ground(orange)wire near the top of radiator support or ground the pump(orange wire) to another ground point near the pump on the chassis somewhere .. or you could run a hot and ground direct from battery through a switch to the pump so you can check it is working correctly ?? making sure you remove the original hot and ground wires from pump ? let me know

I have a 5.8L with a rear mount aft fuel tank. I dropped the tank to replace the leaf spring hangers. The plug on the sending unit just crumbled apart as the tank was lowered. Now I am not sure which wire goes on which post of the sending unit, and will the fuel pump work with out that plug just by snapping the end of the wires to the posts?

These are the sire colors:
Two wires are fatter than the other two

The two fat wires= orange and the other is black (or dark brown) with a white stripe.

The two thinner wires= black and the other is yellow with green stripe.

Here are the schematics: The thicker wires are for the fuel pump and they would work if you plug them in without the connector but ensure connections are tight as the fuel pump draws a rather high current and would heat up if connection is loose. Orange = Pump ground. Brown/White = Pump power. Yellow/Light Blue = Sendersdignal Black = Sender ground or return.

I bought a new fuel pump and sending unit for my truck and the new wire harness has a round plug in the one on my truck has a plug that has 4 plug in that are straight across if I cut that plug on off what are the wire colors I use to use the new style plug

Is the new wiring harness color coded? If so just match up the colors, hopefully that will work? I did look at the connectors online parts book. The motorcraft connector is round. The aftermarket Standard connector is flat with four pins in a row. Are the connector pins numbered or lettered?

i am not getting power to the yellow wire going to the fuel pump relay the red and tan have power but the yellow should have power at all times i cant figure out why it doesn't have power where would i find the fuse link in the wire

The fusible link is blue a 20 gauge wire at the starter relay. See below Good Luck
