1993 replace an exhaust manifold gasket 1993 ford f150

I am looking to replace the exhaust manigold gasket on my 1993 Ford f150. I bought a Haynes book for it today but this really didn't help in what I needed to do.

stock exhaust manifolds dont have gaskets. but if you wanna replace them, your best bet is let the engine run and get hot, then break the bolts loose and tighten um back down. then let her cool right off before removing to try and minimize warping.

chances are you will have to buy a special tool to spread the manifold collectors apart to rebolt.

take a stud and thread in 2 spots when putting manifold and gasket on, helps align gasket and manifold and cuts down the swearing 100%
