Is engine cranking at all or just a clicking noise?

You said you replaced the coil pack. Did you do this because you found that there was no spark getting to plugs? Or just out of a "gut feeling" so to speak? If you haven't yet, check for proper spark at plugs (should be bright blue in color). Also check fuel pressure on fuel rail just to ensure it is getting proper fuel to engine.

I replaced the coil because it seemed there was no spark to fire the engine- when I checked the coil (original equipment) the output node was severly coroded, so I replaced it. It worked great but only temporarily. Engine cranks very well. Plenty of battery. Plenty of fuel. It appears that I am not getting power from the coil- no bright blue spark at the plugs, but the odds are I did not buy two faulty coils in a row. Perhaps I am not getting power to the coil, and if not, I don't know what to do next.

There is an electrical connection from the crank position sensor to the ignition control module (ICM) and also an electrical connection from the ICM to your ignition coil and electrical connections from the ICM to your powertrain control module.

Check for proper voltage at each circuit and this will tell you if you have power at the coils.
