Ok, so i have a 1993 ford f150, it has been around the block a few times. So i was driving, and suddenly my dash illumination quits, no tail lights either. So i bring it home and take apart the dash, i see that on where my switch rests, on a grey box where wires connect, there is evidence of a short. I fix it and still, i cant get my dash illumination to work. But, here is the catch, if i slowly pull out my switch, i can get them to work and then my tail lights work, but if i pull it too far, then just headlights. I checked my fuses, no blows. So any leads on what i should do?
