For about a year, my blower has only been working on high. Did some research, which led me to beleive it was the blower motor resistor. Before i gota a chance to change the resisitor, the blower stopped working altogether, wouldnt even blow on high. I had the resistor, which I changed, but the blower motor still doesnt work. Should I be looking at the pigtail that attaches to the resistor, or is the entire blower shot?

Thanks

See my profile, I do not know your rig

I, myself would attempt to find the Blower Motor wires into the motor (if this is possible on your rig)

At the connector, I would use small alligator clip jumper wires and run Direct 12 Volts from the battery to it......to verify the motor is Good or Bad.

This may can be done without removing the assembly.

If possible move the fan (shaft), to get it to another position (armature)

Thats just my way of checking the motor.....you might consult a Repair manual.......Everyone should have one!

Just trying to help out!
