I have put in 3 new batteries in the last year. They go dead after about 3 or 4 months.I've had it to the
Ford dealer twice and they can't find anything wrong
with it. I've noticed the fuel gauge stays active and another gauge as well when I turn the truck off. They say thats normal in this truck. I have been the sole owner of this truck for 15 years with no other problems. any suggestions?

Could be the alternator/voltage regulator and wiring problem. Get the charging system checked out-

Or do this disconnect the regulator and jumper A to F connector when you do this you're full fielding the alternator making it throw everything its got
