While using the rear fuel tank, on a truck with dual tanks, the front tank fiills with fuel, what is causing this to happen?

Might be a bad fule pump which contains the check valve to keep this from happening. Ford had a TSB on this, they installed a check valve on the feed line on top of the tank unit (silver cylinder, about 2 inches in length) sometimes the valve will get debris in it and stick, if you dont have a check valve already that you can try to clean, you will have to purchase an updated fuel pump assembly that has the check valve built in, for some reason Ford discontinued the small inline valve, probably too cheap and easy of a fix....lol
