I have a 1992 Ford F150 automatic. Recently the truck has had trouble up shifting. Everytime we adjust the throttle cable the truck shifts fine. It seems to be stretched to the max. If we spend the money to replace the throttle cable will the more than likely fix our problem? Or what does this sound like to you?

test your TPS sensor instead. common hard shifting in these trucks is attributed to a bad tps sensor.
