What screws don't go the entire way in? Are they the ones holding the flywheel in place? They should all be flush with the plate it that is the case.

Let me know.

its the scews for the pressure plate there 1 inch in length but they are only threaded 5/8 up the screw leaving a 5/16 smooth surface before the hex head the new ones i have are the same length but they are threaded to the head of the bolt and when i scewed in the new ones all the way in the the clutch didnt not disengage

Honestly, they all should be tight against the pressure plate. However, if they are loose, I would think they would cause the clutch to not engauge not the opposite.

Have you tried replacing all of them?

The only thing I can think of is if the clutch was put together incorrectly. The pressure plate would have to have pressure on it at all times.
