1965 Ford F-100 Used car

I do not have my old truck anymore, but had to put something in the boxes to write to you.

I live on rough country washboard roads and a gravel drive in the country and need a new USED car.

I need cargo space for my bicycle, the occasional trip to the feed store and sometimes a few bales of hay.

I'm looking at 10 year old vehicles (I'm a poor freelance writer) so these are the options: the Subaru Forester (spartan uncomfortable interior) the Ford Escape (zzz), and the Nissan Pathfinder + Toyota 4Runner (I hear they are both a rough ride) and the lovely Lexus RX 300 (love that comfy ride and luxury interior).

What do you recommend?

Is there something I'm missing I should be looking at?

IDEALLY... I really want a comfortable ride on rough surfaces without ruining the vehicle's suspension.

My budget is under 7K, so it's been a long tough search.
