the glass is shut,the doors are all shut.after about 30 minutes the lights will go off sometimes when i close the door again.

On my f-150 the little switches inside the door latch become gunked up. Try spraying the heck out of them with wd-40.

The 'prong' on the sensor may be bent, or damaged. Try pushing it down and securing it with tape or something, see if that works. If not, the contacts inside the switch may be bad. Try a slavage yard for a used one. Should cost under $5.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound silly but my wife had the same problem one night.Sometimes you can be lucky enough for a simple fix.
