power window regulator

The power window regulator has went otu on my 2002 explorer. But the window is all the way down. How do you manually raise the window to disconnect the regulator?

try this first turn the key on hold the window button in the closed spot. at the bottom of the door towards the hing with a rubber malet or something solid hit the bottom of door or even on the door panel towards the front at the hing area this may jar the motor enough to make it go up you may only get one shot make sure your holding the button. hope this helps.(NOS) 8)
