Hello, I drive a 98 Ford Explorer with 117,000 miles and have recently noticed a noise when applying the brakes at 40 to 50 mph. To stop the noise I release the pedal and then brake again. The brake pads were replaced in 2005. It's sounds a loud humming noise.
