I have a 2007 Ford Explorer "Ironman" edition. The windscreen washer pump has failed. Still under extended warranty, but with $100 deductable, it will cost me that to have it replaced. I can buy a new pump for around $50 from the dealership and around $30 online. It looks to be a simple plug-in wiring attachment and a one-liquid in, two-hoses-out arrangement. Is this easy to exchange and is it located in the front fender well on the front, right side (tire needs to be taken off, as well as the wheel arch skirt)??

Actually, the last part of my initial question was what was most important to me - "... Is this easy to exchange and is it located in the front fender well on the front, right side (tire needs to be taken off, as well as the wheel arch skirt)??..."

Just want to confirm the windscreen washer pump's location and if the front right tire and wheel arch skirt need removal to access it - ??

Thanks! :)

Sorry about that. Your washer pump is at the right front corner of the engine compartment, pictured below. Removing the right front wheel and wheel well cover will make the job much easier, yes.
